When is the best time for my child to start tennis coaching?
Children can start tennis coaching at any age. We have programs for children from 3 years of age.

What program would be most suitable for my child?
Based on your child's age and ability we will put your child into the program that's most appropriate for them. An assessment is done and we will recommend the best program for them.

Does my child require their own racquet or other equipment for lessons?
It is strongly recommended that children have their own ra cquet for tennis lessons. We do however have a limited number of loan racquets available. For all Teddy Tennis classes however, all equipment is provided.

Can I purchase a racquet?
Yes. It is important that the racquet is the correct size and weight as well as for the appropriate level. Our coaches will be able to offer assistance in choosing the right racquet and demo racquets can also be provided to try before you buy.

What do I need to wear and bring to coaching?
It is recommended that comfortable loose fitting clothing that enables you to move freely is worn. Tennis shoes are recommended, but flat sole shoes are also acceptable so as not to cause damage to the courts. Hats, sunscreen and water bottles are also recommended.

Am I able to enrol in lessons after the term has started?
Yes. You can enrol in lessons at any time and fees will be calculated at the pro rata rate.

What happens if it is raining or extreme heat during my lesson?
In the event of inclement weather, where a lesson is not possible you will be advised up to 30 minutes prior to your lesson whether it is cancelled. If you do not receive notification in this time frame it is assumed that the lesson will go ahead.

How do we arrange a make up lesson for any missed lessons?
A make up lesson can be arranged by contacting your coach and organising a time that is suitable. A make up must be arranged where possible priot to the beginning of the following Term.

What happens if I miss a lesson?
If you miss a lesson and notify Michael Logarzo Tennis (MLT) you will able to do a make up lesson. 24 hours notice must be given, so we can arrange an alternative lesson. If however, you do not notify us you will forfeit that lesson and be charged.

Do I need to re enrol for lessons each Term?
Yes, you must inform MLT that you will be continuing your lessons for the following Term.

Do I need to be a Tennis Club member to have lessons?
No. You are not required to be a member of the tennis club. Tennis lessons are available for any member of the public.
