The High Performance Program is for players pursuing a career in tennis professionally, US College Level or high level juniors. It is designed to complement a player’s existing training schedule and provide players with an elite and professional players development program. The program looks to create 'elite" habits required at the highest level and is dynamic, high intensity, physically and mentally challenging. All players will be required to meet the specific training, performance and behavioural standards set and expected of them guided by our values and culture. A holistic approach is taken in developing balanced individuals in all areas. Those wishing to participate in the program will be assessed as to their suitability.

 

On Court

The on court training portion of the HP program is designed to prepare players for the demands of high level tennis. A strong emphasis is placed on developing individual game styles, smarter, physically and mentally stronger players. All training is specific to building an individuals game based on our 5 key areas to stand up in pressure situations.

“If you can’t move you can’t play.” The development of efficient, smooth and balanced movement techniques is a daily theme in all sessions.

 

Strength & Conditioning

Physical training is a crucial element in player development and compulsory in the program. The physical demands of tennis make it essential that players develop a consistent conditioning program and develop better athletes

  • Create elite tennis athletes and mental toughness

 

 

Injury prevention

Prehabilitation and recovery education to avoid and minimise the impacts of injury.

Mental Training

Educate and empower players with mental skills that will enable them to perform at their optimum level. This includes the following components:

  • Positive attitude and body language
  • Focus
  • Self confidence
  • Awareness

  • Emotional well being

 

 

Sports Science

Players have access to world class sports medicine and sports science partners who have highly experienced in working with tennis athletes.

 

Full Time Program

Full time program including on court training, fitness and conditioning, tournament scheduling and support, sports medicine and more. Video Analysis - To be included..

Michael is one of Australia’s leading development coaches, with over 15 years experience working with players at all levels both in Australia and the United States. With an insatiable passion and thirst for knowledge, Michael's experience has enabled him to gain a comprehensive understanding of tennis at levels and the manner in which to guide those players to achieve their goals. Being exposed to many different training systems worldwide and world class mentors, he has developed a philosophy and methodology for players to grow both as athletes and individuals.
